Vineyard Voyagers Children’s Program
Our youth sailing program introduces children to the joy of life on the water through hands-on learning, adventure, and teamwork. Participants build confidence while learning the fundamentals of sailing, seamanship, navigation, marine safety, and ocean stewardship aboard Life Goes On.

Swim, Song, & Sail Summer Camp
For five unforgettable days, girls ages 7 to 14 are invited aboard Life Goes On, our 54-foot bluewater sailing vessel, for an immersive adventure on the water. Each day brings new lessons, challenges, and discoveries as we explore the timeless art of sailing through hands-on experiences in seamanship, line handling, navigation, leadership, and life at sea.
By the end of the week, each girl will confidently handle lines, tie off a cleat, master essential knots like the bowline and clove hitch, coil and toss a line with purpose, and speak the language of sailors. They’ll confidently use terms like halyard, sheet, jib, mizzen, staysail, and tack as they learn to raise, trim, and work every one of our four sails.
More than a sailing camp, this is an invitation into a world of curiosity, courage, teamwork, and adventure. Lead by a female captain and crew, your daughter is in safe and inspiring hands for one week that will change how she sees the wind forever.

Martha's Vineyard Sail Charters
From Edgartown Harbor, you have the opportunity to jump on Life Goes On for a day or evening sail! Every charter helps fund sailing scholarships for local children.
Private Sunset Sail
There is no better way to end a day on Martha's Vineyard than out on the water. As the afternoon wind settles into a gentle breeze, we'll raise the sails and let the sound of the waves and the wind carry us across the harbor.
We'll sail past the iconic Edgartown Lighthouse, along the shoreline of Chappaquiddick, and out into the outer harbor, where you'll enjoy sweeping views of the Vineyard coastline and one of the best vantage points for the sunset. As the sun dips toward the horizon, its golden light glimmers across the water, creating a spectacular backdrop for an evening under sail.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, sharing the experience with family and friends, or simply looking to unwind after a day on the island, our sunset sail offers a memorable and uniquely Vineyard experience you'll carry with you long after you've returned to shore.
Half Day Sail
Whether you're looking for adventure, relaxation, or a little of both, a half-day sail aboard Life Goes On is the perfect way to experience Martha's Vineyard from the water. With four hours to explore, we'll tailor the day's adventure to the wind, weather, and your group's interests, creating an unforgettable experience on the sea.
We might spend the afternoon sailing through Edgartown Harbor and Vineyard Sound before dropping anchor in the calm waters off Chappaquiddick for a swim, paddle boarding, and a picnic on deck. Or, if you're eager to cover some distance, we'll set all four sails and let the wind carry us farther afield, perhaps toward Vineyard Haven, around West Chop, or wherever the day's conditions invite us.
No two sails are exactly alike, and that's part of the adventure. Every trip is guided by the rhythm of the wind and the sea, making each outing aboard Life Goes On a unique opportunity to discover the beauty of Martha's Vineyard under sail.
Full Day Sail
With a full day aboard Life Goes On, the Vineyard becomes yours to explore. Eight hours under sail opens the door to unforgettable adventures, giving us the time and flexibility to venture beyond Edgartown Harbor and discover some of the most beautiful destinations in the region.
Depending on the wind, weather, and your group's interests, we can set sail for the historic island of Cuttyhunk, a favorite destination among New England cruisers, explore the charming waterfront of Vineyard Haven, or make our way to the colorful fishing village of Menemsha.
No two full-day adventures are ever the same. Guided by the wind, the tides, and your sense of adventure, every sail aboard Life Goes On is a chance to experience Martha's Vineyard the way it has been explored for generations—from the deck of a classic sailing vessel.
